“This is anarchy, treason, a sin against out community Lena and I will not sit by and let them smear campaign my school. Lies, all lies about me daily Lena I had enough I went in search of something we looked since childhood in hopes I’d come back a more well rounded wizard.” Pacing around the room, that characteristic smile had faded into a grin
Daily Prophets were left disheveled, the top issue featuring the smug of the minister smiling; insisting things were going as they should be. His wand flicked towards the pile, ‘Incendio’ was muttered and the pile exploded into flames. “I think that is quite enough of those.” A smile was once more fixated, promptly deposing the shreds with another flick of his wand
The cerulean peacock kept itself situated in the corner of his office, cleansing its feathers as graceful as a wizard brews a potion. The unique bird stopped and began fulminating with the entrance of an owl into the room; ‘Impedimenta’ halted the owl in motion as Alexander ceased the letter from its beak. Quickly reading the letter upon its arrival he again muttered ‘Incendio’ as the letter crumbled into ashes against the floor. “It seems it is indeed one Ace Clearwater that has been abducted from our school. It’s a horrific thought to what they are doing to him; I wouldn’t imagine what horror Septimus would partake in.” Speaking as if Lena was not in the room with him, only to himself and perhaps the old headmasters and headmistress that floated in and out of their portraits
Twirling his facial hair as a reaction to the news, nervous habit perhaps, his wand focused itself on the door unlocking itself so the other staff could join in the office. The room filled quickly with each staff member, obscure people of all sizes drifted inwards to fill the magically addition of empty chairs.

“Bloody hell students placing charms to make it rain in my office, if it wasn’t you’re mention of Meteolojinx Recanto I’d have still been covering my possessions in protego charms.” Sicoft was in an uncharacteristically good mood; deep in conversation with the charms professor about the unusual weather patterns happening in his office. It had been a few hours past since the attack, each professor choosing their spots around the desk of the Headmaster.
Attire wise Sicoft was adorned in a high collared dress robe, a green and silver sash draped around him embossed with the crest of Slytherin. He wore a bourrelet conjointly along with his robes, the bourrelet being green swirled into silver striping, and it was discernable why he’d done it. Proclaiming his obvious allegiance to the Slytherin house, stashed away in his robe was his wand but easily accessed in need. Notably missing from the group was the nurse who was still tending the injured students.
The headmaster sat holding himself properly against his throne like chair, adjoining his chair was the headmistress that made the setting feel like they were about to be addressed by a king and queen of royalty.

Lena sat there and listened to him talk. Her left hand was against her forehead while her right hand held her wand. Her mind was swimming with a thousand things , everything from the ministry to the atrium. She silently cursed herself for even putting thought into the atrium situation but she couldn't help it . "Well i hope your little journey was worth it and it has succeeded in making you a well rounded wizard Alexander." She looked over at the peacock ,and then sighed as the owl entered the room.
"Poor Ace, I cant even begin to think of the things they are going to do to that poor boy. Something has got to be done about this Alex. We cant just let them end up killing him , thats not an option here." Her voice was barely more then a whisper. She stood up and began to pace again. She then moved over to Vertos desk and shook her head.
" Septimus Lestrange will be dead before this war is over, you can count on that. Maybe not by my hands but by someone else's. He is a vial little roach that needs to be squashed." She smiled as she thought about it. She then shook her head and then walked back and took a seat again.
Lena turned her head as Alexander unlocked the door with his wand. She watched as everyone piled in and waited for them to announce what was to be done about this situation. She just hoped that Alexander had some idea.

Alessandro arrived moments after all of the others. Dark circles were beginning to form under his eyes, giving him a tired and beaten expression. He had a frantic look behind his eyes that suggested fear and concern. Being told to dress formally, he had found his best and only pair of dress robes. They were crimson satin with a golden trim and collar. Over it, he wore a long black cloak covered with gold specks that would shine like stars when caught in the light.
Alessandro didn't bother with any chairs but walked straight past all of the other professors and stood before Verto. He obviously had something important to say. His face was pale and dripping with perspiration. With a shaking hand, he set three tarot cards on the desk.
"Is it true, Alexander...? They took Ace Clearwater?" Alessandro asked quietly. When he received a nod, he swallowed hard.
"The cards...they told me horrible things that will soon happen. The Hanged Man, The Devil, and... Death. All of these associate with pain, suffering and considerable loss. No matter how many times I drew, the cards came out the same. Someone will be...immensely tortured and murdered by the end of this week."

"Then my dear Alessandro, we must thank the very heavens we do not base our thoughts and decisions upon what your card game shows." Sicofts words stinging on the back as they were spoken, he took little time to interject that we should be basing our decision today on what he has seen through the cards “Not to sound austere ‘master, but perhaps it is ever so unwise to trust such a tomfoolery subject as divination.” His words matched his attire; they slid out like a serpent stalking prey attacking on the very livelihood of the professor that was now a mere foots distance from his own
Both professors stood in front of the desk, each pleading their case of what to do until the Headmaster had arose from his chair to silence them both. “I thank you Professor Sicoft for your concern but if you’d please abstain from such outbursts that would be quite helpful at this time.” The headmaster spoke, directing his hands to the empty seats for both of them to sit
Sicoft unhappy having his idea denounced in front of his fellow staff, though perhaps he was out of place.

Alessandro glared coldly at Sicoft. Of all of the other professors, he had trusted him the most. Now, he felt as if he was stabbed in the back. He took his cards off of the desk and sat down without taking his eyes off of him. What a conniving little prat... He thought to himself and forced his eyes away. He looked to Alexander instead. He was sure that if Septimus LeStrange was behind the kidnapping his predictions would soon be coming true. In a way, this give him a sick satisfaction. Sicoft would be proven wrong. But the desire to see his coworker crushed was quickly replaced by the images in his imagination of Ace being tortured. He shivered and covered his face with a hand.
"Can anything be done?" He whispered angrily to no one in general. It wasn't fair. Ace was only an innocent child who didn't deserve any of this.

The office remained silent for the brief time, the staff sat quietly as the headmaster motioned the headmistress to seal the door shut. “The attack, the attack that happened on our school can not be described. The Ministry and I have never been one to see eye-and-eye on particular subjects but the personal insult by removing one of our students leaves me speechless.” Heading past the staff he leaned against the wall adjacent to his desk, peering out the window across the lake into the fading sun, gaining a sort of peacefulness to him before going on “Ace Clearwater, a fifth year Ravenclaw has been taken by the Ministry and is feared dead at this time. I wish to the heavens and to the former headmasters and headmistresses that the boy remains alive, I can only hope that is the case.”
His speech droned on for hours about love, about Hogwarts as a whole and was coming to an apparent finish without a plan. Distraction came as a black owl soared through the window and perched itself onto the desk, a piece of parchment tied to its leg. The owl swirled the room once before leaving through the window and into the sun from which it came. Speechless for a moment he handed he letter to Lena, the staff waiting eagerly as to what the letter contained.

Lena sat in her chair and listened to Andolini talk about the cards. She believed in this sort of thing very much. She didn't even want to think about Ace being the one murdered by the end of the week. She sat there and tapped her foot as she rubbed her temples with her hand. She quickly stood up and began pacing again, she couldn't just sit there and do nothing while the ministry had one of their students. She stopped and looked at Sicoft as he spoke to Andolini and the to Verto.
" Sicoft please" was all she said before Verto spoke up and quieted Sicoft. She then began to pace again as she began to speak. " This is not the time nor the place for a fight to erupt between you two now. So don't attack what he believes in" . No one spoke for a brief time and all she could do was pace back and forth and think. The silence was becoming unbearable and she wished that someone would say something. So when Verto began to speak she was very thankful. Lena walked back over to her seat and sat down but continued to fidget in her seat like a child.
She nodded as he spoke but said not a word. She was interested in what he had to say.
" We can only pray that he is going to remain alive long enough for us to find him. I really don't think the minister himself will kill poor Ace but i wouldn't put it past Septimus. He wont think twice before finishing him off" She added shuddering at the thought. She continued to listen intently to Verto talk for the next few hours. Everything he said had a point and a purpose but they were no closer to coming up with a plan as they were when this all began.
Lena sat still as the owl came into through the window and brought the letter to Verto. She took it from him as he handed it to her and she read through it . She bolted upright into a standing position as she read it again to make sure she had comprehended it correctly.
" Oh my Heavens." [/b]She said as a few tears ran down her face. " Ace Clearwater's body has been found in a forest." She whispered as she looked up from the paper at Verto.[/color][/blockquote]
