Aria walked outside, trying desperately to clear her thoughts. Everything seemed so overwhelming all of the sudden. It felt like years since she had seen her new and only friends. After searching for them around the castle she gave up and retreated outside, to the same place she and Ace were attacked. She grinned to herself as she laid vertically along the bench and looked up to the clouded sky. Micira had finally gotten what she deserved.
Aria brushed a long strand of hair out of her face and peered at all of the laughing students. They seemed so happy. She imagined Rani, Ace, and Beth having fun without her. She imagined everyone in Ravenclaw house getting overly excited as Ace returned while she sat there on the cold stone surface of a bench, alone like usual. She glared and sat up. Questions began to appear in her head.
"Are they really my friends...?" She whispered to herself. "Or do they just pity me..?"

Beth walked ahead of Ace still thinking about her mother, the ministry and Verto. She tried to look at the bright side of things and think positive that they were gonna win this battle between Hogwarts and the Ministry but at the same time she wasn't sure they were gonna. It had stopped raining almost completely by this time but she was still soaking wet .
She shook her head letting her hair send water all around her as she walked.Shaking her head made her dizzy and she almost fell over, she laughed as she steadied herself looking around to see if anyone had seen that, which she knew they had .
Beth smiled at students all around her, this seemed like a good day for everyone to be outside. She gazed around her , not looking for anyone specific when she spotted Aria. She hadn't talked to her in a while and she had actually missed seeing her. Beth darted over to where Aria was laying on a bench.
"ARIA! How have you been? It seems like its been forever since Ive seen you! " She said cheerfully sitting down on the cold wet ground . She was already wet so what was the point of worrying about getting more wet or dirty. She looked up at Aria and smiled brightly she really had missed her. Aria was the only female friend Beth really had. From the corner of her eye she could see Ace walking toward them . "God hes slow " she thought to herself before laughing .

"Oh......Hello." Aria said quietly, unsure now of her own thoughts as she looked up at Beth. She smiled feebly to let her know she wasn't mad at her. She shifted over so that she could sit down, but Beth looked more comfortible on the ground. Aria grew quiet, as she looked at the ground. She didn't want to verbalize the absurb ideas that were going through her mind.
As Ace was coming up she couldn't help but glare a little. The images of him getting glory for being the victim of Micira. She had only been out of the Hospital Wing, but she already heard gossip of Ace being back and the endless conversations about whether he could play Quidditch now or not. Nobody even asked her if she was okay. She couldn't help but feel envious towards him.

He trudged along the river bank, before catching up to Beth and Aria. Aria stood there, looking sort quite antipathetic, the urge to ask her on her own condition overtook him “Aria, how are you feeling … How is your side feeling?” He asked her with empathy in his voice, and care in his face, he honestly for one of the many times in his life
Taking a step closer casting a quick glance around the courtyard, the students that lingered in the courtyard were soaked with the downpour of rain. The rain that had been falling in droplets had become so harsh upon the students, the wind held the rain on a slant as it fell pouncing against the cobblestone floor. Ace withdrew his wand, flicked it twice creating an invisible barrier appearing between his body and the rain.

Aria let her head drop back as the rain started to fall. It felt good on her face, and gave her an excuse to avoid looking at Ace. She felt so guilty for hating him and found herself feeling silly for letting the thought cross her mind. When the wetness started to feel like a blanket of coldness around her, she looked up at Ace. He really did care about her. Of all of the people she could be angry at, why him? She let the thoughts drip away with the rain. She smiled genuinely at him.
"You know what...It doesn't even matter anymore. You guys are here with me and no pain can over power that feeling. Thank you..." She got to her feet. "So where were you two planning on going?"

Perplexed at her mannerisms, memorized by her aloofness towards her injuries, sitting next to her and started to sway with the wind. The night was upon their necks, the sun had found itself nestled between the sky and the ground and from the emptiness of the courtyard they had missed dinner. Dinner meant little to the three of them, food was so trivial when being with each other that he ignored his stomachs call for food.
His humming was silenced by a man limping through the courtyard, briskly passing the three of them noticeably clutching his face. The commotion that followed would distract the peacefulness and relaxation of being with his friends.

Beth sat on the ground with her head pointed up wards toward the sky letting the rain fall upon her face. She never really liked the rain but today it just seemed to fit perfectly in with everything. Beth looked up at Aria and smiled, being with her friends really meant everything to her and she hoped that nothing ever got in the way of their friendship.
"We just came back from the quidditch pitch, we were just walking back towards the castle when we saw you so , well here we are" she said laughing . Ace was swaying back and forth very slowly humming as he moved. She watched him for a second before he stopped and turned his attention to something else. She looked over at what he was staring at when she saw a man limping through the court yard. He looked pissed and as if he would kill anyone that got in his way .
"Who in the world is that ?" she said still watching the man walk.
