... Our story began in the early parts of the eighteenth century, magic popularized by soothsayers, charmers, and illusionists. The antediluvian castle was constructed and emerged a light, to which was muffled shortly after its opening and remained as such.
It was never more until the latter parts of the nineteenth century. “Inconcessus ex Ingressus." Found it self inscribed upon the placard that hid the castle, indeed, the events witnessed by only a lone soul – Alexander Verto. Most would agree this was a suitable return for a school that would soon be host to some of the most noteworthy – Blood purity radicals, and pro-muggle adherents, the student growth had brought new life to the Movement to reinstate Hogwarts properly
The Twentieth century happened upon them and went, radical magic began and the world took witness. The new fifth year students have only just arrived in this time of gloom and misfortune for the Wizarding World. The focus revolved around the tragic demise of Minoru Sakata, who had formerly held the Defense against the Dark Arts position. It was never in the nature of the Ministry to involve themselves in such affairs, nor was it often the Ministry bent itself upon keeping the Wizarding World clueless as to what is really going on in the world.
Whether was it for the lack of want for distress or their own heedlessness, even blatant disregard, but those who are astute and such nobility like that of Alexander Verto, who were striving to brandish the truth of all conspiracies to date. The Ministry ...screaming ‘treason’ and ‘insanity’, could not tolerate this; they diminished Verto’s quality by interfering with Hogwarts, every attempt to remove him, in so, preserving the corruption.
Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic have fallen into a power struggle, darkness prominently adorning upon each of them. Headmistress Lena Lilac obtains control over Hogwarts, trying desperately to keep everything afloat, but this does not come without the constant hindrance from the Ministry.
As the times grow gray it seems the Wizarding World is unraveling from within. The once prominent product of the Ministry, B.R.O.O.M begins to turn the wheels of their own machine. Gatherings and secret meetings produced right below the Ministers nose, Septimus Lestrange has grown tired of the outdated Minister’s tactics, with his departure will he finally receive the change he seeks.
Adapting to the changing times, Hogwarts students find shelter in some sort of normality in classes. Alexander’s return was short lived as he has once again left the school in search of his estranged sibling.
… Through all the darkness we must remember… Happiness can be found in even the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light.
